Puzzle Fun for Pupils
Belmont Grosvenor School welcomed pupils from two neighbouring primary schools to join in an educational puzzle day.
The Happy Puzzle Company spent a day at 'outstanding' Belmont Grosvenor running a series of workshops for pupils from Year 1 to Year 6.
And as well as Belmont Grosvenor children, staff at the school, based at Swarcliffe Hall, Birstwith, invited pupils from nearby Kettlesing Felliscliffe Community Primary School and Birstwith Primary School to join in the fun.
The Puzzle Challenge Day was the brainchild of Belmont Grosvenor School's Director of Studies Emma Shea, who decided to include fellow members of the Dale National Teaching School Alliance in the event.
The Alliance is a group of 17 schools across the region set up with the aim of supporting and championing the work of rural schools and encouraging co-operation an collaboration to improve the outcome for all pupils.
