Belmont Grosvenor School at launch of Keeping The Beat campaign
Staff and parents from 'outstanding' independent prep school Belmont Grosvenor were delighted to be invited to the launch of the Children's Heart Surgery Fund 'Keeping The Beat' campaign.
Headteacher Mrs Jane Merriman was joined by charities co-ordinator Christie Whincup, Magic Tree nursery assistant Lottie Haggas, and Angela Fothergill, chair of the PTA, at the star-studded launch in Leeds.
The Children's Heart Surgery Fund is Belmont Grosvenor School's chosen charity for 2016 - all funds raised this year will help the CHSF raise £500,000 towards the cost of a new state-of-the-art operating theatre at Leeds.
Earlier this month, the children at the co-educational prep school started their 'Rush to Rio' fund-raising campaign, and have so far collected more than £450 for the CHSF.
