Here at Magic Tree Nursery we value the importance of promoting wellbeing and mindfulness amongst our children.
Mindfulness is about noticing physical sensations and emotional responses, as well as connections to other people. Practising these skills of focusing and noticing is hugely beneficial to pre-school children in a number of ways:
It helps them to increase their attention span;
It helps them understand and regulate their emotions;
It helps with stress management and general wellbeing;
It helps them become more aware of their bodies and senses;
It helps them build a connection to the natural world;
It helps them to develop empathy and compassion to others;
At Magic Tree we prepare various age appropriate activities to promote mindfulness and wellbeing in all of our children.
