Our ‘outstanding’ Magic Tree Nursery is based in the old stables block of Swarcliffe Hall – but is as far removed from its former use as can possibly be imagined!
It’s bright, colourful, and welcoming, with its own dedicated area for our under 2s which has been specially designed to meet their needs and encourage them to enjoy our exciting, ever-changing range of free-flow activities.
We make full use of our 20-acres of grounds – children move freely from indoors to the outdoor space and we have a rest and sleep room as well as fully-equipped kitchen.
Our over 2s are known as Tree Tops, and have their own dedicated environment, including a creative area.
All our children enjoy the woodland Forest School area, which includes an all-weather play space, a tree house, an extensive garden with planting beds, a boat house, a mud kitchen, wigwams and tunnels for exploration.
When the children have used up all their energy playing, exploring or being creative, they can tuck into healthy snacks, breakfast, lunch or tea, depending on the time of day.
There's Quiet Time after lunch for those children who need to sleep or just to relax and recharge their batteries ready for the next activity!
The quality and commitment of our caring staff sets Magic Tree Nursery apart from many other nurseries.
A ‘key worker’ is assigned to each child, who is responsible for ensuring their care, safety and well-being, as well as planning for, reviewing and monitoring every child’s learning and development. This also allows for activities to be planned around individual abilities and achievements.
Every parent gets a unique record of their child’s development, at each step of their learning journey, to treasure and keep in the years to come.
