Pop Lacrosse Club: Lead by Gillian Furniss
This club is open to all children from Year 2 upwards who wish to expand on their ball skills with a new, fast-paced and exciting game. In 2011 the club took part in the annual national Pop Lacrosse competition for the sixth year running. The best the team has achieved is when they progressed to the National Finals and were placed first in their pool and finished in the top eight teams in the country.
In 2010 the English Lacrosse Association held their own junior tournament in Manchester to coincide with the World Championships. We took two teams and made it through to the semi-finals in both the Championship and the Plate. Four of the team players were recognised for their skills by the ELA talent scouts.
