PTA

At Belmont Grosvenor we are fortunate to have the support of an exteremely active and vibrant Parent Teacher Association. This year's committee of fourteen parents and three members of staff, lead by Charlie Brooksbank will be organising many activities and events throughout the year for the whole school community to enjoy while raising additional funds for school. The PTA committee is further supported by a group of class representatives who help at functions and provide a link between the committee and the parent body as a whole.

Last year, the PTA had a tremendous year of hosting activities and events, raising the sum of £21,000 with charitable contributions to both The Carer’s Resource and Meningitis Research Foundation amounting to over £6,000. As a result of the funds raised, the school has benefitted from the completion of several large capital expenditure projects in the last twelve months. The children have now had a full year’s use of and enjoyment from the Adventure Trail, Amphitheatre and Outdoor Class Room. The refurbishment of the Ogden Library in February followed by the Pre Prep Library over the summer means that children of all ages within school can continue to develop their love of reading.

Support for the PTA is hugely valued and input is welcomed from all areas of the school community – teachers and parents from Magic Tree to Year 6. This year the PTA pledges to continue building upon the success of previous years. The committee members and class reps are a visible and approachable body of people in school and so if you have any questions or ideas do not hesitate to get in touch.

As well as the usual cake stalls and coffee mornings many events are planned for this year so make sure you have the dates in your diaries.
