North Yorkshire Police visit BGS

Children from Magic Tree through to Y2 enjoyed a visit from local officers Sgt Turner and PC Tetley yesterday. This was part of North Yorkshire Police’s Safer Schools initiative and aims to build links between the community. The aim of the visit was to get children used to the Police and give them a basic understanding of their job.  The children enjoyed looking at the van but especially enjoyed the flashing lights and siren!
