Instrumental groups

Open to all children learning a wind instrument, what ever their level music is carefully prepared and adapted for them. We rehearse weekly and give performances at the end of each term as well as entering the Harrogate Festival.

String Group: Lead by Tom Foster

Open to all our budding violinists and cellists (as yet no violas!). We meet and perform for our friends regularly, working on ensemble skills and listening skills. All abilities are welcome and catered for.

Guitar Group: Lead by Dan Webster

A relatively new addition to the music dept but already performing in assemblies and incorporating some of our more capable percussionists as well. Music is written especially for the group by our guitar teacher with the children’s input. All enthusiastic players are welcome.
