Curtain Call

This group provides a fun and inspiring environment for children to learn a variety of dramatic arts and to increase their confidence on the stage. Children progress to public performances and the club has already achieved a huge amount of success in its field. In 2010 Curtain Call 1 achieved first place with honours at the Harrogate Competitive Festival with Curtain Call 2 achieving a second place in their category, with distinction. In 2011 both groups achieved 1st place, with Curtain Call 2 being awarded the highest accolade of honours - a wonderful achievement.

Mrs Fearn also takes the children for Extra Drama (preparation for LAMDA Exams) and in December 2010 78% of students achieved a distinction – the highest grade possible. Several of these students had previously won individual classes at the Harrogate Festival in 2010 and went on to win or be placed at the Harrogate Festival in 2011.
