Jabadao at Magic Tree Nursery

At Magic Tree Nursery we are fortunate to have a special designated movement area for Jabadao. The Magic Tree is delighted to be able to offer a session once a week to all children with their practitioner. Jabadao helps enable children’s minds and emotions to be expressed as well as developed within an environment that encourages movement. Jabadao aims to identify the importance of giving children the freedom to move in lots of different ways. This enables each child to practise innate movement patterns that all babies and young children instinctively adhere to.

Magic Tree Nursery do this by giving children opportunities to move freely while at the same time encouraging them, to do the following in a safe and secure environment:

• Floor play, tummy and back play, rolling over and over

• Crawling and belly crawling

• Pushing, pulling and stretching

Jabadao is carried out spontaneously over the week, but the dedicated session is held on a Wednesday morning in stables hall.
