Giggleswick Junior School
On the 20th of January the under 11s went to Giggleswick Junior School Cross Country competition. The course was 2300m long, very challenging and it was extremely cold! 87 girls competed in the girl’s race in 16 teams. The BGS team came 10th with the best runners being:-
- Lexi Murray (37th)
- Samantha Baker-Jones (40th)
- Emma Tomlinson (50th)
92 boys competed in the boy’s race in 16 teams. The BGS team came an overall 8th with the best runners being:-
- Freddie Wright (3rd)
- Euan Brennan (35th)
- Oliver White (41st)

Nell Bank, January 2010
Euan Brennan took part on Monday in a very muddy cross-county course at Nell Bank, coming 8th overall in the 8-10 year category, & the 2nd 8 year old. All the competitors were affiliated to running clubs so there was tough competition! Well done Euan!
Harewood Trail Race 10th October 2009
Congratulations to Euan Brennan who took part in the 2 mile Harewood Trail Race at the weekend. Euan came a close second, and the winner actually broke the course record for their age group, in fact Euan was only 3 seconds slower than the winner of the older age group race! Well done Euan - 2 miles in 14 minutes and 45 seconds is a fantastic achievement!
