Chemistry Experiment

The spirit of the school is characterised by the happy relationships that exist between staff, children and parents. Form teachers, along with our two Pastoral Care Co-ordinators (one for boys and one for girls), constantly monitor the children's welfare to create a friendly and disciplined environment where the children can thrive. This is supported by our house system where mutual care, consideration, teamwork and co-operation are continually nurtured and encouraged.

What is sometimes referred to, as the “hidden curriculum” is also important at Belmont Grosvenor.

Social skills including good manners and politeness are expected and encouraged.

Respect for others, tidy appearance and taking pride in all aspects of schoolwork are constantly reinforced.

We feel that emphasis in such areas, is vital at this formative time.

“Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood”
